In the basement bathroom I have 3 2" abs Ts above the cement and in the wall. On each T down leads to another T that joins the shower, sink, etc.. to the wastewater drain and up leads to the 1-1/2" pipe through the roof.

My question is are these are OK to cover? Is there a reason to keep them? Nothing drains into them and I have access to the drain pipes through the shower, sink, etc... So can I just put flush abs plugs and forget about it behind the drywall?

Thanks,

PS these are not the main Cleanouts for the sewer. Those have very nice access panels.

Those look like required cleanouts, and they must be kept accessible (i.e. not covered) for use as ... cleanouts. Your kids are not going to be able to take the plugs out
with their fingers, just don't be giving them big wrenches for Christmas.

Do not cover. If you ever have a backup you'll find you have a much easier time getting down one of those, rather than pulling the toilet or trying to go through the shower trap with a big cable.
