I have current sensitive outlet for Aprilaire filter in my Goodman furnace. I think it is controlled by a 51 relay. Or something that looks like it. Today when an HVAC guy installed a new humidifier I noticed the outlet has no power when the blower runs. He did not fix it so when he was gone I looked at it and saw the hookup (am myself an EE so.....).
Long story short, I also traced that outlet being tapped and routed to Aprilaire 8100 recovery fan.
I wonder if this is the reason the 51 might have croaked. Is 51 only supposed to drive the purifier and nothing else?
