I set the last bit of tile (12 x 12) in an approx. 160 sq. ft. area Friday around 6pm. Can I go ahead on Saturday and begin doing the grout? Or, is it necessary to wait until the mortar has completely cured. Actually, I don't know what an operational definition of cure would be. Thanks.

If you used thinset you should be good after 12 hours depending on the humidity. Let the grout dry for 24 hours.

Okay. Thanks. I spent a good portion of today prepping the spaces between the tiles that still contained mortar. What a pain.
