Going to lowes later and need to pick up an "appliance pigtail." Rather than hardwiring it it will be getting plugged into an outlet. What should I look for and what will it be called? I ask because lowes.com shows nothing for appliance pigtail

What appliance are you trying to install a cord on?

Range and dryer cords sets are near the extension cords. Be sure to count the number of prongs you need. Older ones were 3 prong vs the newer 4 prong.

Sorry, it's for a dishwasher and that picture above looks like what I need. Thank you

I actually tackled the 3 to 4 prong dryer issue yesterday. Just bought a newer home so I'm doing some work to it.

Very good. Make sure you can access the plug and leave a service loop. If you ever need to pull out the DW, you will be glad you did.
