My water heater isn’t working. It says system in lockout. Then it gives these reasons as to what could’ve wrong.
1. Gas supply is off are too low to operate
2. Hot surface igniter not positioned correctly
3. Low voltage to the water heater
4. Electrical polarity to unit is incorrect

I already tried cleaning the flame sensor with dollar bill and that has worked in the past but it didn’t this time so I replaced the sensor and it’s still not working. Any ideas? I can’t afford to have someone come in and boiling water is getting old

Did you try to reset it a couple times? Follow instructions on water heater or owners manual.

Check for flue obstructions and make sure vents are clean.
