We have an application where I need to install one of these just to satisfy some code requirements that I have "a toilet". I am looking for a waterless design that is cheap.

At one time I worked for our county and a few parks had composting toilets. It was a tank with an outhouse mounted on it and a trap door outside for clean out. They threw in sawdust or wood chips from time to time. They needed to be cleaned out occasionally.
Back in the days of real outhouses, when the pile in the pit got high and stinky they tossed in some lime.

Composting toilets are not cheap. $1000 and up.
