After searching the forums, not seeing this particular condition...

Older ceiling (10+ years), fan operates fine; lighting does not.

Both the fan and the fan lighting operate from one single light switch (no dimmers). The light switch has power and still operates the fan. There are
two pull switches on the fan. Replaced the light pull switch with a new switch to no avail. Checked and re-checked wiring connections; all appear secure. Removed lighting canopy, two check power from primary lighting wiring. There is a white and a blue wire; both marked "lighting." When I
connect a multimeter to these two; there is no voltage reading....Time for a new ceiling fan?

Thank you bk4532

Wattage limiter was first required jan 1, 2009. I saw them show up in my area abt sept 2008. So if the OP is right on the 10 plus years, he probably doesn't have a wattage limiter.

Test for power at the switch. If none, work your way up towards the ceiling, until you find power.
