Andersen Double Insect Screen Track

Moved into a house that has am Andersen French door. I'm not positive, but I think it's the Frenchwood 400. (It's definitely the Frenchwood series)

In the basement I found a double insect Screen door kit, so I got the instructions out and see "caution double insect Screen track must be installed on door before door is installed in rough opening. Double insect Screen track cannot be installed after unit has been installed in rough opening."

Anyone have personal experience to the contrary? The instructions are mostly Greek to me, so I'm having a hard time making an educated guess, but I'm all for trying if it should work.
