Removed all ceramic tile etc all the way to slab. Getting ready to install Allure 3' X 1' planks. Looks like tile not wood. Says Carreau on the box. I read all the instructions, didn't see anywhere where it said to use a foam underlay, kinda like pergo. Talked to a friend who laid Allure 6" x 3' product and he did use a foam product under that had adhesive to stick it to the concrete floor, then the Allure floats over it. He said it makes it softer to walk on and a little quieter. Should I use this or just put it on the concrete?
