The two lights and outlets in my bathroom stopped working suddenly. I checked breakers and nothing seemed wrong and am not sure how to proceed. i read somewhere that a bad neutral could cause this issue. But how do I check which is the faulty part? Should I verify that the wiring on all outlets is correct/not broken?
Please advise

probably open wire weather neutral or hot leg.
first
find circuit feeding those few lights. turn circuit back and work in direction tpward electrical panel and try tapping lights and rec.outlets with hand to see if lightflickers .if it does than check that outlet for a loose wire (either on screw terminal of wire cap. if that doesnt work just open lights andf fixtures toward panal as suggested. I use to put a buzzer in outlet not working so I could hear it if problem was in another room. Also use your nose and smell the outlets close to ones that dont operate the burned will smell like a burned pot handle or burned wire

Do you know which circuit breaker feeds these lights & recepticules ?
Is there anything else on the same circuit ?
Does the other things still work or not ?

You need to answer these questions so we can find out where
the power originates from !
