All steel piping, what should I do?

This stuff is to the point where some of the joint are corroding and water leaks spring, should I replaced everything with all copper/pvc? Or is the a cheaper/easier solution?

Copper, Cpvc Or pex.......2 nd question .......no Your pipes are most likley galvanized & are corroded ... You will benefit by replacing

I don't know how they are installed.. Best advise I can give is do the least amount of damage as possible. Or leave the old pipes there & run the new pipe a different route that would do least damage

sometimes you can snake PEX up the wall like electrical wiring but then it wont be supported inside the wall...... better off either redoing the drywall or calling a plumber.
