I remember a job where they required it to be connected to the pipe before any fittings or valves were encountered. At least with the 5 foot rule, you have a bit more accessibility nowadays.It has to be connected within the first five feet of where it enters the building. Size of pipe doesn't matter. Aluminum can't be terminated within 18" of the ground.
No problem. Make sure the clamp is listed for AL.so as far as location AFTER the T(pipe) it is ok?..that water line goes to a washer
