Had a question and unsure how to do this without
the NEC states grounding to copper pipe has to be 5 ft or less ,i have bare AL ,and also that it must not be under 18 in of earth..
My copper line coming in at crawlspace is 4 inches above the ground for over 5 ft..
How can i properly ground the wire to pipe without violation..there is a branch off from the main there above 18 inches but its a smaller one coming off the incoming line going to laundry room.Could i ground it there even though its not main line?
any info is appreciated
