I need to paint several things for a new house we are building. Need to paint chandeliers, mirror frames and a couple small pieces of furniture. Last time I did this type of work I used spray paint and it worked ok but it seemed like there should be a better option. Been reading about airbrushes and spray guns. Anyone have some advice here?

I'd stick with a spray can for small jobs like that.
You'll spend more time cleaning, thinning, and filling the container, then doing the spraying.

Rent an HVLP unit for smaller things like what you are painting. Or you could buy an electric airless with a cup to feed your gun.
