last winter i had a new heating system put in...i know it is wired incorrectly because in the winter time when my heater comes on , it goes thru the a/c....at that time the serviceman was having a hard time connecting the thermostat but finally seemed to get it fixed.
now this summer, when it's hot as blue blazes here in dallas, tx the a/c wants to run constantly. i usually have it on 76 to 78 degrees...the house usually stays about 70 degrees but like i said the a/c runs constantly and never cycles on/off like it used to before i had the new heating system put in. i thought it might be a thermostat issue but just dont know that much about it and if you call someone here, they'll want your 1st born and the car sitting in your driveway and still give you a very stiff bill. and i'm afraid with it running constantly it will eventually burn out the a/c system. the house stays cool almost cold sometimes and i dread to see the electic bill from the a/c running. i had new energy efficient windows put in a few months after the heater but havent seen any saving ..........
thanks for your help...........:jester:
