just started recently, sounds annoying but not sure if there is really anything wrong. do i call a plumber, please advise.
toilet is not new but only 10 years old, Koehler,
house is 15 years old.
never heard this type of noise.
should I be alarmed?

The few times I have heard piping creak in the walls was with hot water pipes.
Any chance your toilet is fed with hot water?
And more than likely it is a reaction to temperature change. But houses settle for many years after they are built. 2 X 4's twist and the building frame can move around.
Settling can move a pipe enough to create this creaking noise. Does it happen when you run any other water supply?
