Has anyone used this product?

I'm having an off-gassing issue I believe on bi-fold closet doors that was improperly primed. I'm afraid it's giving off formaldehyde gasses and I want to seal it. This is my thread here: http://www.diychatroom.com/f4/foul-odor-closet-doors-after-priming-172241/

I'm thinking of trying Zinsser Shellac but considering Safe Coat because based on reviews it seems to give off less odor. Since I live in a Apartment Complex, odor is a very important issue. Not like I can take these into the garage or a back yard to work on. Thanks in advance.

+1 for shellac.I use to do a lot of insurance work with smoke damage and used BIN primer to seal out the smoke smell. The alcohol based shellac dries fast and the smell dissipates quickly.

What the heck did you use that you are so worried about off gassing and formaldehyde.
