Need a quick check on GFCI vs AFCI under the new NEC



Adding a recess light circuit to existing house kitchen. GFCI protection not required but AFCI is?

And Bathroom fan over shower should be both?

Kitchen lighting needs to be AFCI only, not GFCI.

Bathroom shower fan does not need to be AFCI or GFCI, unless the manufacturer requires it.
