I'm getting ready to starting finishing off an attached garage that is 24 x 28ft with 9.5ft ceiling height and looking at heater options.
I have natural gas available and would prefer using a ducted attic mounted gas furnace (non-condensing). The reason for this is space. I'm doing a fair amount cabinets and finishing it off nicely so I would prefer not having a self contained heater hanging from the ceiling.
I'm located in SW Ohio so may have days needing a 50+ degree temp rise.
a few questions:
1. Any drawbacks to this I should know about?
2. Any furnace recommendations?
3. Should I place vents in wall near floor or keep them in the ceiling?
Thanks for your help!
