I'm looking for an adjustable wrench that fits the power head of TXV valve. What you guys are using to remove a stuck power head?
The power head is really stuck. I need a narrow adjustable wrench. I tried channel locks but doesn't work. With a little practice, channels locks will work.
Do you know the thickness? Can not be larger than 1/4 "Diamond...FORD...MONKEY wrench for the power head and a regular adjustable to hold back the body..if you set then up with the handles just opposite each other with one hand you can burp that power head loose with one quick squeeze:wink: http://www.mytoolstore.com/diamond/dmdpage.html

I'll use this post to ask for some questions.
- Do you think if I use 3/8" hose with 1/4" adapter I'll get fast vaccum pump instead of use 1/4" hose?
- How do you deal with the black smoke when you light the torch inside the house?
I replaced TXV AC is working. Next time I'll replace only the power head.hvactech126 said:not to sound out of line...........But Has the TXV been repaired yet? No customer of mine would deal with this long wait...... Just replace the txv assembly and be done with it.......
