We are about to finish a bathroom that was barely started before we bought our house and I'm trying to figure out the best way to tie into our existing septic system. Plumbing for the toilet has been ran and the pipe is capped underground outside the house (as well as below the septic tank.) If I understand correctly we need to get some type of pump/grinder to send the waste up to the septic tank.

Is installing a pump/grinder our best option? I'm just not sure if there is a better alternative or if there are any suggestions/hints from experience that I should know about. I have already checked the capacity of our septic tank and we won't have any problems with the additional waste.

Thanks,
Derek
