Added door entrance to basement - Different Door "Casing/molding" than doors in room
I built a wall and door into my basement that had no door or wall at the bottom
of the stairs going into the basement.
There already were two other doors attached to the basement room.
1. One for the entrance to a small laundry room.
2. One double door to another room in the basement.
I looked at the door casing/molding around the doors on the upstairs and chose what model/design for the new basement door casing/molding based on the model/design of the upstairs doors and I failed to notice that the door casing/molding for the already two existing doors in the basement were a different design/molding.
I already brought the cut casing/molding for the new door so I can't get my refund at Home Depot.
Is it OK if my new door entrance casing/molding is different than the door casing/molding for the existing two doors attached to the basement room?
