anyone have experience with this stuff ?
how well does it do left fully exposed laying somewhat flat ? and stained ?

also. there is ground contact GC and above ground AG.
how well does GC do when actually contacting sometimes wet ground ?
and
how far above sometimes wet ground does AG need to be ?

I have had a little experience using GC for flooring and siding on an outbuilding in a humid subtropical climate. The siding was on a shaded side that stayed humid and wet for a long time after rains. You'll need to let it dry out after you install if for a few weeks unless it comes from the supplier pretty dry because while still wet with chemicals it doesn't take stain well. After drying stains appear a little darker than on untreated plywood. That's less of an issue with solid color stains than transparent and semi-transparent. I never used it flat in direct ground contact but as flooring on joists about 8" over damp earth with no problems for about 5 years (it was still there and fine when I moved.) You have to support and nail or screw it down just as you would any plywood floor.
