So its gotten hot again and now our AC won't cool anymore. I replaced our existing Honeywell thermostat with a Nest in the fall and unfortunately didn't check to make sure both heating and cooling worked. I settled for the heating working. Fast forward to today and the cooling will not come on. It will still heat but will not cool. Wondering if I did something wrong or if Nest wiring is not the same as the Honeywell that is preventing the desired result. My last check will be to swap back the old thermostat and then calling a Pro. But I want to give this one last shot before the wife screams murder. Attached are pics of the old wiring and new wiring. Help!!

remove the wires connected to r, y and g -> twist them together, if the a/c comes on and wired right call technical support.

you have to have a certain number of posts to attach pictures i believe.

no experience with nest, has a lousy reputation on these boards and others.
