I have a 1 bedroom 850 sq ft condo, that is essentially two big rooms (open dining/living/kitchen/den and bedroom). It's a reasonably square layout, so there are no long corridors. How should I go about cooling this in the summer?
Things I've considered:
1. one 14000 BTU portable AC unit in the main room, with some fans to push the air into the bedroom.
2. two less powerful portable AC units.
Other ideas?
None of my windows are conducive to window AC units, so I think I'm stuck with portable ones. I live in Seattle where we have reasonable humidity, so I don't think an evaporative cooler would be of much use here.
Thanks.
