A quick question about a water heater

Sorry for a dumb question, but I'd like to know whether hot water comes out of faucet if the main valve to the house is shut off, which makes no water pressure in the tank.
Can I still get hot water at the faucet ?

you won't get cold water or hot , if you let the water get below the elements in the water heather they will burn out so kill the power if you are messing around and don't know what you are doing ???
May help if you share the whole story behind the question.

why do you ask...
If your hot water tank as an expansion tank you may get a bit of hot water out of the hot until the expansion tank is decompressed.
