A.O Smith water heater (power shot

I have an A .O Smith water heater (power shot) It has a self diagnose control panel on it. The "A" & "b" lights are illuminated. If I cycle the circuit breaker it will work for about a half day. The trouble shooting guide suggest several things, low gas press, low volts & "hot surfaceignitor not positioned correctly. Now What do I do?
