I have a 6x6 post and 2 lvl 1" 3/4 beams from each direction I need to attach.

The inspector wants all on top of the post I spent a while looking at Simpson metal things trying to figure how to attach them.

Any advice would be great

You should be looking at a column cap similar to this.

Thank you that will work now I need to just find a cheaper version.... I got a quote for $175 each..... anyone have any cheaper ideas

Have a welder?

Have a buddy with a welder?

Get a student at a local school fabricate them in welding shop.

$175.00 is ROBBERY.
