Coming off of the end of the supply plenum, I had intended on doing a 14x14x14 wye. This isn't readily available to me. They do have a tee. Or I could run 1 14" collar and 1 8" collar to achieve the same results. As I have to reduce the ones side of the wye down to 8" anyway.
Question is, does this adversely impact airflow if I use the tee?
How about the two collars? I will not be able to place both collars at the end of the plenum, one will have to go off of the side.
I have seen plenums with multiple collars from all sides, but wasn't sure if this was optimum, or just necessary in some circumstances.
