I have 2 of these in my room that are an ugly color, I tried to search the internet but cant find anything. Do they even make these sizes anymore? I'm looking to get white to go along with the new white baseboards were gonna add.

Any alternatives if they don't?

Looking to replace them with new white ones if possible.

It's hard to get a full picture as we have stuff in the way, but here's a small picture of what the style looks like. Would i be better off taking them off and spray painting them? They look old fashioned in my opinion, something more modern would look nicer.

Appreciate the reply.

So I went to take them off today and spray them up and realized that the actual vent opening is only 12". The actual cover is 8ft. Should I just save myself the time and run to HD and get a smaller baseboard vent or do I actually need the 8 footer to help distribute the heat more?

The room is about 15x13 if that helps

We've had nothing but floor registers approx. that size for years and don't have a problem with distribution with heat or cooling even with furniture above those registers if the furniture piece has legs. With the HVAC unit running in either mode the room by room temperatures won't vary a half degree. The only difference you probably don't have ducts under a concrete slab floor. I'd be for re-cycling that metal.

Theres 2 of these in this room, so you dont think the 8 ft vent covers are neccessary? Since the vent opening is only 12" I'll just go with a newer style that fits that size then.

Only problem is I'm going to have to fill in a little bit of the wall where the back of the original vent that is recessed.

Tried to get a pic of what I meant. Too bad the baseboard isnt tall enough to just hide it.
