when building walls 9' tall there needs to be some kind of brace that goes in the walls to help support them how do I figure out as to where the brsces go in the wall I'm using metal studs that are 9' tall

Metal walls vibrate esp when the door is closed etc. So min 2 on the adjacent sides of the door jamb studs or add 2x4 as top and side jamb studs. Also need fire blocking where the ceiling and wall drywall meet. If that is the top plate, good. For the height, may need one in the middle to break the fireblocking code of every 8' vertical distance, and this would also be the middle blocking. If using metal as blocking, cut out the holes.
