Putting your numbers in terms of feet only.

8ft 5in = 8.42 ft;
11in = 0.92ft;
6in = 0.5 ft.

The bags are listed in terms of cubic feet.

For quickrete, go here:

If you don't want to do that, here is what they list as appx ft^3:

YIELD
• An 80 lb (36.3 kg) bag yields approximately 0.60 cu ft (17 L)
• A 60 lb (27.2 kg) bag yields approximately 0.45 cu ft (12.7 L)
• A 40 lb (18.1 kg) bag yields approximately 0.30 cu ft (8.5 L)

Just multiply all of those numbers together: 8.42*0.92*0.5 = 3.87 ft^3.

If you buy 60lb pound bags, you will need 3.87/0.45 = 8.6 bags. Round up to 9.
