Hi all,
I am installing an over the range microwave oven, and need to run a 6" exhaust duct through the wall above the kitchen cabinets. Since I have a whole house fan, I would like to maintain a good seal between the living and attic space. I found these air duct collars which would work perfectly for my needs. However, I am not sure what problems this could potentially introduce (vibrations, noise, hazards???). Have any of you used this or something similar when running a duct through a wall?
