Hi guys it's our 5th anniversary coming up. According to the gift list I should be getting her wood....no jokes plz.

I dabble a little in my garage with basic wood projects.

Any good ideas for a useful wood project.

I could make a jewelry box but she already has one. I could make cutting boards but it's pretty meaningful gift.
I've made her a potato bin last year....

Thanks I apreaciated your feedback. Just looking for good ideas

Nice husband! I have a beautiful Koa wood mirror, about 18" by 24", heavy, with 3" rounded edges and also a heavy Koa wood vase, about 6"Wx10"H, heavy, that holds a glass tube for flowers.

Another idea would be an oval frame that has her favorite flower carved around it. :wink2:

How about a nice tray. We made two recently and I love them, especially
the Living Room one.
I don't know if you want to get more involved
but we also made a couple of perfume cabinets. We made one that sits
on my end table and it would make an awesome anniversary
gift for your wife.

I have never bought my wife something according to that stupid 'it should be this' list.

We usually get each other something for the house. One year we did take a cruise....though I must admit there was some 'wood' involved somewhere along the way....
