The 2 have to match or the condensor will run weird pressures and ice up the indoor coil etc etc.
5-ton condenser on a 4-ton system question
I have a 4-ton Lennox system. The condenser unit needs replaced but all else is good. Does anybody see any issues with using a 5-ton Goodman condenser with the existing 4-ton system? I am just looking at getting the house cooled for one or two more seasons until I can replace entire system with something newer.
