In my living room, i have 2 switches and a dimmer switch connected to one overhead light. Yesterday the two switches stopped working properly, they will not shut off the light. But the Dimmer switch still works just fine. Nothing has been replaced or worked on recently in the living room. Have a good knowledge of electrical problems just confused by this. Could this be a problem with the dimmer?

Well, it's the most likely *to* have something go wrong with it.

If you were to open up these three device boxes...
the culprit should show itself pretty quickly.

I did open up the boxes and saw nothing out of the ordinary. Would this be a case of the 4 way switch malfunctioning or going bad?

They don't just "go bad".

The problem is either in one of the devices or the wire... right?
(what else is there?)

If the fault didn't just jump out at you... you'll have to dig deeper.
