have a stove in the rental property whose 4 burners on the stove top work, but oven wont do anything(but you can smell the gas coming out) some one told me to light the "pilot". have no idea where this is and i dont wanna blow up like the movies. If somebody can, please help me??

...been awhile, but look around the bottom for panel to easily remove, there should be lighting instructions near there.

Do you smell the gas all the time or just when you turn the oven on ??

If you call your gas supplier, they may send someone to show you how to light the pilots. You can also tell them about your gas smell concerns.
