NO! You cannot have a 15 or 20 amp receptacle on this 30A circuit. I am installing a 30amp RV outlet 100ft from my main panel using 3 #8 wire
my question is I want put a regular 15 amp outlet that would feed from
30 amp outlet can i just pigtail #8 wire with #12 wire.
A little spendy methinks - but makes for a neat installation over separates. What will work is a Midwest #U041C010 found on this page: http://catalog.geindustrial.com/dat...&PID=1556762&FAMID=350&Lang=EN&CC=MA&Profile=
The other alternative, and likely cheaper, is to run two separate circuits out to the pedestal. One 30A/120v and one 15 or 20A/120v. You can share one #10 ground.
Mr. Sultan, you're not a happy camper. But. . .that is not the fault of this forum.
OH SNAP! I think I just got served! Good one there! You see, folks, what he did was take my name InPhase277, and transposed the first part and the numbers with something else. The "In" became "Out", and the "277" became "460". That's classic. Scathing, even.Want to borrow my glasses. Mr OutPhase460:laughing::laughing::laughing:
