i recently purchased a commercial dishwasher that requires three phase power. I have a 4 pin point near the machine 3ph and earth (no neutral). The machine has five wires hanging out of it, 3ph, neatral and earth. how do i wire this up without the neutral?

I would imagine you do not. :no:

In the US you would have to run a new circuit; or in the extremely rare case of a full conduit run, pull a neutral in.

Single phase may be required for solenoids, timers etc!

If so, you'll require a neutral. No easy way out of it!

Normally in the UK system the voltage are 230 L-N and 400~415v L-L { both single and three phase }

You should double check the nameplate to see what voltage it required and It will be wise go get the electrician come in and have it termated proeprly due the L-L voltage may knock ya out.
