3/4" washer hose for dishwasher

Just purchased a GE dishwasher a few days ago. Bought the install kit, hooked it up and it wasn't getting water. The previous dishwasher had a 3/4" hose hooked up to the water supply. I switched out the 3/4" to 1/2" adapter that was in the kit and replace it with the 3/4" water line. Dishwasher was able to get water and it seems to work fine. I've ran it 2x with dishes.

Wondering if anyone uses 3/4" line instead of the install kits which take it down to a 3/8" supply line? Just don't want to void the warranty.
