Hi group, had a major tile job repair, and found out my drywall is out of whack as well as the tiled wall.

anyway, I will take pictures tomorrow, the wall bows out as I go from the bathroom window up to the ceiling about 3/4" the tile guy shimmed the wall with 2x4" we cut and added to the existing 2x4".

Wondering if anyone can help me determine if I can do this myself 2' vertical about 4' wide and if this is possible by me, would a router with a 1/8" drywall bit or an multipurpose tool with a plunger cut tool or a circular cut bit. I would say as home owner handy man type I am about a 7 in skill level.

My thoughts are to use one of the tools cut along the ceiling line then either down at the wall end or before depending on the bowing and then above the window "high spot" shim to plumb " then replace the drywall, tape, and mud to finish.

Is there something I am missing? Thanks Dave

We need that picture----I'm having a hard time picturing the problem.
