I am repairing a pre-existing vinyl deck, I removed the flooring to expose rotten wood joist's and hangers and replaced all. When I started replacing the floor boards I noticed the hidden fasteners previously used are 3/8 inch spacing, apparently this is unusual because I can't find any hidden fasteners with that measurement.

Trex spacers are pretty uniform in the final gap. Not sure if 3/8" is accurate or not, but it sounds right. I prefer Trex spacers to any of the other brands, but it is only a preference.
