I recently received some lighting from closed business in town. I was planning on using them in my shop. I noticed on the ballast it says 277 V
Is there any way to use 110 or 220 to power these lights?
Change the ballast? or are they just now bound for the land fill ?
Thanks

277 volts is commercial voltage for 480 volt 3 phase system. To use at home you need to change the ballast to 120 volt.

Can you post a clear picture of the ballast or at least give the make and model number? Some 277V ballasts are universal input types and can run from 100V-277V. Some cannot.
