I am working on renovating our entire house and we are coming to the living room. Our living room is 20-30ft and has 25 foot vaulted ceilings. We are wanting to removal the popcorn, fix any and all dry wall cracks and then repaint it. My issue is that I can not seem to find something to rent or use that can help me get up that high. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use and how to get it into the house?

Just FYI, we have a 6 inch step into all doorways into the house.

What is the best way to get this in the house? I am worried the 6 inch step is too much and that it would crack the door frame?

Appreciate the idea. It is definitely my preferred method of getting this done.

best,

I've used both scaffolding and the scissor lift.
Plywood over the threshold resting on support inside and out and forming a ramp to get up and in. Mine needed a 35" wide door, ask if you rent.

However, I prefer the scaffolding on wheels. If you can get clean wheels all set or tape down some heavy paper if wood floor. Besides taking down the popcorn you will want to patch and paint. I bought my scaffolding and have used it for years, inside and out. Your friends and relatives will love it also.

Note, get a few of the aluminum planks.
