220V outlet, are these wires the correct size?

Have attached the photo here.

The one I'm concerned about is the double joined 30A breakers that has one black wire and one pink wire coming out of it. This feeds a 220V outlet that is for the dryer. Do these wires seem the correct size? I am concerned because if you look just above them there are two double joined 30As that feed 2 A/C units, and those wires look huge compared to these ones. I am upgrading my dryer because the previous owner's dryer seems underwhelming. So I want to make sure these wires can handle what I presume will be a higher wattage dryer than the old one. Any advice would be appreciated.

They look as though they could be #10 which should suffice for an average electric dryer. The wires for the A/C are bigger because the code and the manufacturer may have required it. You can check the nameplates of your A/C units.

They look fine to me.

What I don't like the looks of is the last neutral down on the bus bar. While the stripped portion of the wire might be longer than others and OK, it sure looks like if it is just barely caught by the screw. I would kill the panel and check/fix it.

And any white's carrying current should have been marked with black tape on both ends.
Take another picture face on of the panel.
Something just looks wrong to me where those larger wires are connected.
Any 240 volt circuits should have had double pole breakers, not singles like it looks like in that picture.

That's a GE 2 pole tandem breaker. Fits in a 1 inch space.
