I have a Dimplex single element heater with fan I am installing in a bathroom. It is the 208/240v model.

In looking at the diagram it does not make any reference to a neutral. It shows L1 and L2 and only mentions a neutral for the 120v modal and you would wire it to the L2 terminal.

I have ran a new 20A circuit using 12/3 romex. Do I need to hook the neutral to anything and just use the red black and ground? Should I just cap off the white??

I would think the motor for the fan would need it but that is rated for 240/208 also.

Thanks for any help

If it is a straight 208/240 then it would not need a neutral, just 2 hots and a ground. I would cap the white and not use it.
