I am planning on running a new 6/3 cable for a dual fuel range I am buying. I also need to run a gas line to the same general area for the gas cooktop part of the range. I have looked in the NEC, but I cannot find anything that mentions any separation requirements for the receptacle and gas connection. Is there anything I am missing, or can I just go ahead and run both of the gas and electrical to the same stud bay and have no code violations?

Yup. Go ahead and do just that.
There is no restriction or problem with it.

Go for it there is no restriction at all and it is pretty common pratice to see that being done in that way.

Merci,
