I'm replacing my w/d with newer models and want to make sure they are powered properly. The dryer is gas so only requires 120v power, and same goes for the washer's power requirement.

I'm looking at the circuit and wiring that are currently set up in my basement feeding my laundry room area, and it appears to be a multiwire circuit on a 20a double pole breaker. #12 wire with black, red, and white conductors + ground. It then splits at a junction box to two GFCI receptacles. Attached is a diagram of the current configuration.

Should I have any concern about the two receptacles being on a circuit with shared neutral?

I don't think there's any issue, from what I've read, but thought it couldn't hurt to double check. Thanks!

NOTE: mislabeled wire gauge in the diagram - it is actually #12

You might as well leave everything in the laundry area as-is (each half of MWBC wired to a duplex GFCI receptacle unit) because you don't need to add anything new.

You can use a Double pole GFCI breaker, so that you can just split the regular outlet into two circuits. Otherwise you will need a 3-gang box or two separate Single boxes for the GFCI's.
You do not need a 3 gang box or 2 single gangs boxes. You can install the two gfis in a 2 gang box.
