2002 subaru, no power

looking for some help, my 2002 subaru could not make it up my driveway yesterday. it has been jerking and stuttering latley, it will also just drop in power at highway speed and the recover. i have changed the fuel filter an the problem is still present. the car is not throwing any codes at any time and the check engine light is not on. any help
