I have a bathroom fan on 2 way switches. Black, white & red wires and ground.. How do I remove 1 switch?

The switch I want to keep, by the sink has red wire on brass screw, black wire black screw, white wire on silver screw and ground. This one has hot white.

Other switch has black wire black screw, white wire brass screw and red wire to silver screw. This one has hot black and white. I want to remove this switch. Which two wires do I connect to have the power continue to run to the switch I want to keep?

Connect the black and either one of the other two. You can't bury this conenction inside a wall it must still remian accessible in a junction box. What is the purpose of removing one switch?

Thanks Joe,

The wires will remain in the box with a cover plate.

My wife gets confused and despises the other switch. So for our anniversary I'm going to remove it. Ahhh its the little things!

Thank you.

Then no problem. Tie the common wire to one of the other two. Common is the wire on the black screw. If the other switch works backwards then tie the common to the other wire. Cap off the unused wire as it will be live when the light is off.
