Ok. I got a 1998 Nissan D21 4x4 extended cab 3.0L free, it needed Frame and body work. I had to replace the gas tank. Once I got it all back together and tried to start it, it just cranks. It does not seam to be getting fuel to the carb. I hear the electronic fuel pump run but again no gas to the carb. Any ideas or do I need a need fuel pump/sending unit. BTW the fuel filter is new, also the tank is now full, but the gage in the cab shows empty. So any sugestions would be great.

You mentioncarb. Is this not fuel injected? Birther way do this.

Find the fuel rail that feeds the cylinders or something like that right before fuel enters the injectors. Turn the car ignition to the position before it triggers the starter and see if you get fuel there. I am not familiar with this car but disconnect the the fuel rail slightly so you can get fuel coming out to see if fuels gets that far is a good start.

I thought 97 was the last year for the D21.

This is a long shot. With a helper or outside, take the gas line loose at the carb and and crank it. It might be some form of air lock or maybe the pump isn't primed.
